(5167) Aronov, Aleksandr Yakovlevich (1934-2001). 4 Poems.

“Vesiolaia Istoriia” (A Gay Story)
“Ballada o Stranakh” (The Ballad of Countries)
“Ballada o Tramvainoi Zhivopisi” (Ballad on the Paint of the Tramway)
“Samaia Gor’kaia” (The Bitterest)

Working as a school-teacher the poet worked as a journalist for “Moskovskii Komsomolets” for over thirty years. Publishing in poetry there as well as in “Ogoniok (N°32, 1988)” and in “Znamia” (N°3, 1997), his poem “get to. 1943 god” became famous and provoked a scandal for evoking the complicated relations between the Russians, Polish and Jews in the post World War II period.
The link towards the virtual Russian library contains the same poetry as those of our samizdat bar some minor title changes; “Ballada o Stranakh” becomes “Stikhi o Stranakh”. Of course our samizdat well precedes the site.
