We do know V. Khodasevich was one of the first Russian writers after the revolution to bear the brunt of an as yet unofficial Bolshevik anti-semitism.
After his departure for the USSR in 1922 the entirety of his works were hit with prohibition (Blium 488). Khodasevich is one of the writers whose samizdats were the most sought after since the foreign editions were impossible to find locally.
